VALENTINE’S DAY SURF AND TURF

I’ll be honest with you. I have no clue when, where or why “surf and turf” first appeared on a restaurant menu. What I do know, however, is that the combination of lobster and steak can’t be beat when creating your own special menu for Valentine’s Day.
This year, I am tapping in to the Grilling.com archives for the perfect menu, starting with my signature Grilled Sate Bouquet. Follow that showstopper with our Wood Planked Lobster recipe, a Grilled Coffee and Coriander Rubbed New York Strip Steak and some grilled asparagus tossed in olive oil, sea salt and course ground pepper and you’ve got yourself a picture perfect meal for your loved ones!
