We love Opening Day . . . because that is the start of summer and great times by the pit. We have our own team - some that work to prepare the items for the grill, the grillers, and the ones that put everything together in the end to have a great meal. It takes everyone working together to make happen. We love creating new items such as pizza on the grill as well as traditional items like ribs and pulled pork

At my house, we prepare for opening day by cleaning up the grill, buying some new charcoal, making a stop at the local farmer's market, then the grocery store...Then back home to fire up the grill and get to cookin'! Nothing like kicking off the warmer weather seasons than with an awesome barbeque!

We give the grill a good scrub. Get fresh Kingsford charcoal. Secure a boatload of burgers, brats, and hotdogs. Fire up the grill, turn the game on and away we go.
