We’ve had some great New Orleans inspired dishes this week and today is no different!  Here are a few recipes worth keeping in mind as you plan the menu for the big BCS Championship Game.

What better way to start off a N’awlins inspired meal than some grilled oysters?  Grill Grrrl has you covered with this great recipe.

Tasso ham adds a little Cajun zip to any dish and Larry from TheBBQGrail.com reveals a recipe for making your own at home.

Just because it’s called “barbecued” shrimp doesn’t mean it can’t be done on the grill.  Here’s my recipe for this rich and buttery dish.

And finally we’ve got the ultimate New Orleans staple – the po boy.  Utilizing the faux frying method, we created both the crunchy shrimp po boy seen above and a grilled shrimp version with farmers market relish.
