Grilled Peanut Butter Pork Chops
March 10, 2014
Who would have thought peanut butter and pork would pair so greatly? This peanut butter-based marinade may sound a little odd at first but trust me on this one. These pork chops will quickly become a favorite among your friends and family.
1 cup creamy peanut butter
¼ cup peanut oil
¼ cup white vinegar
¼ cup soy sauce
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. sesame seeds
1 tsp. ginger powder
2-3 lbs. thin pork chops
In a small saucepan, combine the first seven ingredients and warm over medium heat until the marinade mixture is fully combined, approximately 5 minutes. Remove the mixture from the heat and allow it to cool completely.
Place pork chops in a large zip top bag and add the peanut butter marinade. Refrigerate the pork chops for six hours or overnight.
Prepare the grill for high heat cooking. Remove the pork chops from the zip top bag and wipe off any excess marinade. Grill pork chops for 5-7 minutes per side until completely cooked through.
Remove the pork chops from the grill and serve immediately.
