Bold Brisket Rub

October 16, 2012

As a Texan, I have to proclaim brisket as my favorite low-and-slow meat (though we won’t share that with my neighbors in Memphis!).  And when it comes to brisket, I’ve come up with a dry rub that’s got just enough heat to create the perfect compliment to the juicy, beefy end product.

Bold Brisket Rub Ingredients

4 tbsp Kosher salt

1 tbsp granulated garlic

1 tbsp course ground pepper

1 tbsp smoked paprika

2 tsp chipotle powder

2 tsp ground cumin

1 tbsp. Worcestershire powder

Instructions

Blend all ingredients in a medium bowl and set aside until ready to use on your favorite beef cuts.
